Series “Dance”

Series “Dance” consists of 5 decorative plates, which can become a wonderful decoration of the interior. All plates from this set are hand molded from white clay and decorated with paintings on damp enamel, they are thin, light, pleasant to the touch and easy to use.

“Dance” is a picture of how the emotions of body movement interact with dance, everything becomes blurred, there are no individual elements, there are no single points, no lines, there is a continuous stain, one unit that you observe after dissolving. All around disappears, and only you, those who dance and your feelings, remain.

I like watercolor, its transparency, purity, lightness. Therefore, in the methods of decorating, I often turn to this technique. This is a peculiar game with a brush and color. Ceramics is a rude, mundane material, in combination with this painting, it flies, the tenderness and fragility that is inherent in watercolor painting is added.

Every work, even the smallest, is unique in its kind, becouse it is created by hand modeling technique and hand painted. This set is decorated with a drawing, which is created without preliminary sketches.
